Fridtjof is still a young gun.

The Norwegian rider was born in Oslo and is just 18 years old. Nevertheless, he already has a first place at the Swedish Open and has been wowing crowds across the globe for the last couple of years now, almost becoming the first guy to throw a triple cork at the recent Frostgun Invitational in Val Thorens, only just crashing out on the landing.

Before being part of the Völkl Freeski Team in Norway, Fridtjof spent his time skiing alpine and telemark – which is practically a rite of passage for Scandinavians. But neither of these disciplines fulfilled the goals Fridtjof had as a skier: He just wanted to have fun and do well in the competitions he participated in. So, Fredricsson switched to twintips and from then on he got his influence from the latest ski movies and tried to take as much of his ambition into the world of freeskiing as possible. In summer he lives in Oslo and still attends school. For training he does a lot of trampolining. Having notched up some great competition results already this season, and coming close to landing a triple in competition, Fridtjof is definitely one to watch out for!
