For the first time in the history of skiing, the ski’s characteristics can be noticeably changed in a simple and elegant manner; no tools, no adapters, no complexity! A simple twist of the dial on the ski’s tail activates the two carbon rods running the length of the ski, loading or unloading them with power to adjust and control the ski’s | characteristics and energy. Power Switch enables the skier to adapt the ski for varied snow conditions and preferred skiing styles. For 2008/09 Völkl has integrated its premium technology into three ski ranges – racing, mountain race, and all condition.
