Freeride

Since 2010 I have pursued a career as a competitive freeride skier. This lifestyle has led me to travel all over the world and live in Europe, New Zealand and North America. After realising one of my goals to qualify for the Freeride World Tour in 2013, my focus changed to pursuing challenges in wild places, backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering to reach peaks and new ski zones. I am currently producing a two year documentary film with my sister Anna Segal and Bjarne Salén, Finding The Line, which will be released in Novemeber 2017. I have a bachelor degree in Fine Arts and love to write.

1. Favorite Völkl Skis
Confession 179cm
2. What do you use this ski for?
Freeride skiing inbounds and competitions. I have also tried it mounted with the Marker Kingpin for when I am planning to hike up a freeride line. I recently took this ski in a 179 and 186 to Alaska and swapped between them depending on the snow conditions.
3. Why do you like this ski?
It is one of the most versatile freeride skis on the market. The tip and tail rocker performs in all types of snow conditions, from chunder to powder. It is quick to turn, lively and aggressive.
4. Why do you like being a part of the Völkl team?
Völkl make incredible products, they value rider feedback and work to manufactuer skis that are relevant and progressive.
5. How long have you been riding for Völkl?
Since 2011
