Director of Finance and Operations

Position Summary:

MDV USA is seeking a Director of Finance to own and manage the company’s accounting, customer service and warehouse. The position will drive continual improvement of the MDVUSA operating processes and controls, including close coordination with the accounting, customer service and warehouse team.


General Responsibilities:


  • Own the monthly and annual financial and reporting processes for MDVUSA to internal management & corporate headquarter with a focus on driving improvements (quality, efficiency & timeliness) to enable optimal business governance
  • Lead monthly closing process with accounting team
  • Assure compliance with all accounting standards in accordance with U.S. GAAP, maintaining records, policies, and practices that are compliant with federal, state and local government laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate budget and forecast development, including balance sheet, cash flows, and other areas.
  • Leading Customer Service, Warehouse, & Warranty management.
  • Logistics oversight
  • IT and system administration
  • Shared Services Oversight:
    o Commissions reporting and payment
    o Customer Service oversight
    o Product calculation (standard cost calculation) in the system
  • Select JEs
  • Product group Flash
  • Stock Analysis
  • Flash P&L
  • Prepare Data and promote phase 1,2,3
  • HFM documentation
  • Headcount report
  • Product Liability report
  • OSHA report
  • Quarterly Package
  • Internal Financials
  • Select account recs
  • Prepare schedule for annual Federal tax filing
  • Interact with landlords as needed


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of accounting and accounting management in roles within a sales company
  • Unquestionable ethics that drive leadership and behavior
  • Experience implementing and improving accounting processes
  • Experience in customer service and warehouse management
  • Expert knowledge of ERP systems, Blackline, Hyperion and Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Expert US GAAP knowledge, technical accounting research and analysis skills
