Andri Ragettli wins GOLD

The tension was high as it was not until the final run that Andri stepped it, putting together a flawless run to clench the GOLD medal in the Slopestyle World Championships.

Andri dropped in second to last after qualifying with the 2nd highest score. The conditions were tough for all the riders with gusty winds on course in Buttermilk Colorado.

Team riders Birk Ruud who is competing in all 3 events, HP, SS and Big Air placed 7th and Finn Bilous 9th.

Quote Andri Ragettli - “What a crazy journey this has been! 4 years ago I ended up in 6th place at the Worldchamps in spain! Which was amazing but so close to the podium????the big goal was the next worldchamps in america 2 years later. But then at X-Games I injured my knee and missed X-Games and Worldchamps and watched from the couch!????❌ That was tough! So here we are 4 years later healthy and hungrier than ever! In my third and final run I had my last chance, I put pressure on me BIG TIME! Which I also need to perform my best.
Went all in despite the windy conditions and took home the gold!???????? congrats to all the other riders! “
