Dash Longe

My twin brother and I were born in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1985. We moved to Lake Tahoe in the early 90s where I became obsessed with skiing. Whenever snow didn’t cover the ground, we skateboarded. This is where I learned about style. If a skater had sloppy style, it didn't matter how good he was. This is the mindset I brought to skiing, and in the late 90's it was my belief that skiing was going through a bit of an identity crisis. As twin tip skis came out and the freeski movement began, it became my mission to make skiing look cool again. A lot of that early mentality has stayed with me throughout the years as I still strive toward making my visions happen on skis.

1. Ski Volkl préféré
Bash and the BMT 122
2. Pourquoi utilises-tu ce ski?
The Bash is my go to ski for deep days and on days I will be skiing a variety different terrain. I like to have the option to land or take off switch if I find myself inspired to try some tricks. The BMT 122 is my touring and big mountain charging ski. I use it for hard charging lines and anything big I just want to ski.
3. Pourquoi aimes-tu ce ski?
I like the Bash because it’s a good well rounded ski thats wide enough to float on the deepest of days but can hold and edge at the resort too. I like to bring it when I don't really know what type of skiing I might find myself doing. I dig how light the BMT is. They feel like paper, yet you can load up a GS turn on them without going over the bars. I am very impressed with the dynamics of such a light weight ski.
4. Pourquoi aimes-tu faire partie du team Völkl ?
It’s a rad crew of talent from all over the world and I'm proud to be a part of it but most of all, I love the brand and the people behind it.
5. Depuis quand rides-tu sur des Völkl
13 years
