In this construction carbon fibers are no longer incorporated as a uniform fleece. They are integrated through a stitching process in such a way that their orientation and strength meet the functional requirements of each part of the ski. As the tip and the tail are the most influencial sections on a ski the carbon fibres are concentrated exactly in these areas. As a result the power transmission is extremely precise and liveliness and energy are accesible with minimal effort.
Titanal is an isotropic high-tech aluminium alloy that delivers smoothness, great dampening, direct power transfer and stability, resulting in a very powerful and precise ski. The alloy is placed inside the ski in various positions and layers as required according to its desired ride characteristics.

While rocker technologies are not themselves new, having entered into all categories of our collection some years ago, they currently play an important role in the VÖLKL PERFECT SETUP. Once tailored with the correct flex profile and sidecut to the specific target audience, each different rocker construction provides enormous benefits to the skier, and almost all models end up with much better handling performance while requiring less exertion. To achieve this, we calculate the optimal version of the rocker line for each individual ski model.
