Tomas Busca

I have always lived in Gressoney, a small village in the mountains in Aosta Valley. Since I was a child, skiing was the passion that I have dedicated my life to. I started racing when I was 6 years old and at 18 I entered the Army Sports Center and I was aggregated to the National B team giant slalom. I obtained some good results during the years: 22 podium in FIS international races and 3 wins, a 3rd place in the overall standings Italian Cup giant slalom and a 6th in the Italian overall National Championships.

Then I dedicated myself to skier cross, a discipline in which I participated for 4 years at the World Cup with the Italian team. As a results I have a victory and 3 podiums in the European Cup, 2nd place in the overall standings of the European Cup, several placings in the 15 in World Cup and a participation to the World Championships (Madonna di Campiglio '07).

In parallel to my activities as an athlete I have always practiced other sports such as tennis, climbing and skydiving (my second great passion). In addition to racing my time is always devoted to freeriding, a fantastic way to travel, skiing and discover new worlds and new friends. My trips dedicated to freeride took me over the Alps and Dolomites to Canada, America, South America, Japan and Kamchatka.
