Dario Farronato was born in the vicinity of the Swiss Alps, near Bern, where he has always been fascinated by the tremendous view of the mountains at his doorstep.

Mogul skiing was his favorite skiing, he started with it when he was young and made it to being successful skier in the national team.

Actually Dario has his own Skicamp on Freeride and mogul skiing, but most of the time, he skis for his soul, mainly off piste, but some times as well back in the good old moguls….

Can you tell us a little about each pair of skis, and about what sort of conditions you use them for?

Shiro = powder

Gotama = mix of powder and tracked snow

Mantra = soft and hard snow, tracked snow and bumps,

Kendo = slops, Bumps, offpiste

What about bindings? What bindings do you use? And where do you mount them?

Mostly race bindings, or Jester pro, mounting, mostly 1-2cm behind the foot middle
